Day +69 - Monday 10th March

Good morning everyone, I hope you’re ready for the week.

It’s the start of week 11.

I slept well, stomach is pain free, chest feels so much better, I even managed full stretches without feeling out of breath.

A restful day, went to our local garden nursery for a few things, nothing too strenuous. The cold weather has returned with some rain today so no chance of a walk.

I’m feeling good, no stomach pain, chest is getting much better, just a couple more days of rest and I’ll be ready for a bike ride.

Early night ready for an early start.

Day +70 - Tuesday 11th March

Good morning everyone, I hope you’re well.

I had a good sleep, no stomach pain and chest is definitely getting better.

No stretches this morning, maybe later this evening. I’m feeling good, a little tired, just need to be asleep by 10.30pm but that’s not happening yet.

Winter is back, so cold today!! A restful day ado filled with work, and trying to stay warm.

I’m feeling a little tired, stomach was playing up this afternoon but much better this evening, chest is also better.

It’s been a good day, now time for some much needed sleep.

Day +71 - Wednesday 12th March

Good afternoon all, I hope your week is going well.

I had a good sleep, woke up with no aches or pains. Full stretches before breakfast but no bike ride because I want to give my chest another couple of days rest.

Another day of rest and work at home, just as well because we’ve had rain, hail and sun, all seasons in one day.

I’m feeling tired this evening, even my legs feel tired. I need to do some kind of exercise tomorrow just to get my body working.

Time for bed and an early night.

Day +72 - Thursday 13th March

Good morning everyone, I hope you’re well.

I slept well, still didn’t manage to fall asleep before 11.30pm.

Stomach feels good, chest feels good and back feels good.

Breakfast was followed by 15 minutes on my bike which was followed by full stretches. Chest feels like it’s had a workout, not as bad as I thought it would be and I could have pedalled even longer so the signs are good and fitness is still there.

Met T & B for coffee and treats, really good to have a catch up. Got totally drenched walking home, the heavens just opened and down came all the hail, absolutely crazy weather.

It’s been a good restful evening, I’m feeling good, a little tired, no aches or pains, maybe that’s waiting for me in the morning, another bike ride will be better!!

Time for bed and an early rise.

Day +73 - Thursday 14th March

Good morning everyone, I hope you’re ready for the day ahead.

I slept well, no aches or pains, first thing was breakfast, then a bike ride, I managed 15 minutes again and this time I pushed myself, at the end of the ride even though I feel tired, I’m not out of breath, a good sign that my fitness and stamina are improving.

Full stretches and now a sit down before a shower.

I’m feeling good, a tad tired, my chest is fine, not breathless at all, legs feel good.

Another cold day, more rain, so a restful day indoors.

This evening I’m feeling a little tired, no aches or pains, just need to venture outdoors tomorrow.

Time for bed.

Day +74 - Saturday 15th March

Good evening everyone, I hope you’ve had a good day.

I slept well, full stretches as soon as I woke up. I could have ridden my bike today but thought it better to not push myself too much.

Breakfast, shower and my first haircut in 3 months, yep, it’s growing back, very slowly.

We decided on a day out so we went to central London for a stroll all over the place, today was along the Thames and wandering down roads and alleys that looked interesting.

That’s Tower Bridge behind us.

It was a cold sunny day, we were both wrapped up and enjoyed our stroll which lasted for 4 miles, not bad at all.

It’s been a good day, I’m feeling a little tired, no aches or pains and generally good and positive.

Time for bed, it’s been a long day.

Day +75 - Sunday 16th March

Good morning everyone, I hope your weekend is going well.

I slept well, woke up early but body needed more sleep.

After breakfast, I was on my bike, pushed myself and managed 30 minutes, there was a little more fuel in the tank for more but I didn’t want to push any further. Full stretches and now a little rest before a shower and potentially a walk.

I’m feeling good, not as tired as I thought I would be after 30 minutes cycling, average heart rate was 146bpm. My flexibility is also returning so good signs all round.

We wrapped up and went for a 3.5 mile walk, it was fresh but good to get out.

It’s been a restful evening, I’m feeling tired but good, I’m in a good place right now.

Time for bed, I don’t think it’ll take long for me to sleep.
