Good morning all, I hope you had a pleasant evening.
I didn’t sleep too well, probably because I didn’t have to take my bedtime tablets which usually put me to sleep. I kept waking up every few hours and I eventually got out of bed at 6am.
Breakfast eaten, tablets taken, including steroids for the chemo treatment later today. I’m going to try and get on my bike again this morning, I’ll stretch after that.
Managed 30 minutes on my bike and then stretches…I’m glad I pushed myself.
A quick lunch and we headed to the hospital, no traffic which was good, took us approx 45 minutes. We have to people watch for 40 minutes before I can check in.
It’s two injections day, no pre meds required apart from the steroids which is good. I don’t have to take steroids on Wednesdays either. I’m hoping there isn’t a delay.
I’m seated waiting for the injections, they’ve given me my supply of home meds…we should be done in about 20 minutes.
Treatment done, finished at 4.15pm, we’re on our way home fighting through rush hour.
Got back home at 6pm, a quick dinner and then rest.
I’m feeling tired this evening, more energy than a couple of days ago. Exercise definitely helps when I’m feeling good but I need to seek more advice about whether I should be pushing myself when I’m having a bad day.
Time for bed, I have a very early start, I hope I can sleep as I’ve had steroids today.
