Good morning everyone, I hope you had a lovely evening. I slept well, feeling less fatigued but still a little tired.
Stretches, breakfast and shower all completed, we’re on our way to the hospital for my treatment.
Today, I’ll have bloods then only one injection, the bee sting one and then home.
Bloods done, checked in at the chemo suite and now we wait to be called. I hope the pharmacy is running at peak performance.
The delay was about 45 minutes, we were out by 2.15pm. On our way home. Still raining.
Back home now and the rain is getting heavier. I’m feeling less fatigued but still lacking energy. The steroids will kick in soon.
Early dinner soon and then rest.
So, the evening has been quiet, fatigue has hit but not as bad as it has been, also feeling tired but that’s probably because it’s been a full on day.
Eyelid infection is now on both eyes, the drops and hot compress are doing their jobs and it’s slowly clearing.
It’s not been easy, the bad days can really hit me mentally especially when I can’t even get out because I’m lacking energy, can’t read because I can’t concentrate, can’t work because I can’t focus so it’s tv, music, laptop or just walking to the kitchen and back to the sofa. Yes, positivity does drop but I make sure I give myself a good kick up the butt. It works!! The good days are opposite but they don’t last. Each day is a challenge and totally different. Lucky I like challenges!!
Time for bed and sleep, I just hope the steroids let me sleep.
Good night all, sleep well.
❤️🙏🏽
