10.0 Fourth infusion treatment (chemo)

Good morning everyone, hope you all slept well. I had a good sleep, woke up at 7am, feeling better than yesterday. My temperature is a little lower.

Just completed my stretches and a mini workout, breakfast next, then a shower, ready to leave at 11am.

Today, my treatments are:

1. Bone strengthening infusion

2. Blood tests

3. Chemo treatment

Everything should be straight forward and the chemo should be 2 injections without needing to be monitored.

We arrived early so sat in their rooftop garden until my appointment.

Treatment number 1 has started.

This process takes about 20-25mins.

Treatment completed, lunch eaten, next is to take all the pre chemo tablets and then bloods.

Tablets taken, blood given, just checked in for chemo, my temperature is back to normal which means the antibiotics are working.

More blood had to be taken as the relevant test wasn’t done, this was sent to the lab and an hour later, results came through saying all ok to commence. Chemo done, no waiting around this time, 2 injections and we’re heading home. The smaller injection always stings. The nurse really pushed through the big dose injection.

I’m feeling good, stomach area is a bit sensitive but what do you expect after the injections!!

Dinner was quick and nice, dessert was the usual banana and tablets.

We even had our fresh fish delivered to us this evening, and it’s top top quality!!!

Bedtime tablets have been taken along with the last antibiotic for the day.

I’m feeling ok, a little tired and head a bit buzzing.

Good night all, sleep well.
